Vincent William van Gogh

Van Gogh’s poor life was certainly not an accurate representation of the Dutch native. Quite simply, he was intellectually gifted from an early age. A very young Van Gogh received exceptional marks up until High School, when he was forced to forego his education in order to support his family, who had fallen victim to financial difficulties. Many believe to this day that van Gogh could have led an entirely different life if not for his lack of education and misguidance in the early years of his adulthood. But van Gogh would continue his journey onward to the best of his ability. Van Gogh was highly enthused by works of modern artists, musicians, and writers from a young age. His curiosity would ultimately lead him to areas such as London and France, where he would not only work for art dealers, but teach to aspiring art students. But In the early 1880’s, van Gogh would embark on his craft and begin to sketch natives of a local Belgian community, while he served as a missionary for a good majority of his younger years. Van Gogh would begin to grow increasingly fond of painting. His admiration for the arts would eventually lead him to France, where he would begin to study French Impressionism and set forth towards a career that is idealized for its bizarre nature and beautiful work.
